Pastor Tayo (BB) as I fondly called you. It is a month today! Your passing on is painful because of the impact you have had in my life. I miss you. I understand why I had to come to NWC. It was to grow in Christ, for God’s word to become flesh and alive in my then dark world.
The presence of God in your life transcended and filled my life. It made me understand God’s gift to me and keeps me focused on Him always. I am now full and not empty despite your passing. I am even more determined to succeed at developing God’s gift and will focus like never before. Thank you BB for capitulating me into that journey.
You epitomised what it means to be Christlike in nature, deeds and words.
You were an erudite teacher, filled with humour, transparent in your ways and candid about things I really tried to hide from. Thanks for making sure your “lil sis” avoided pitfalls that I was sure to walk in if you had not in your kind, caring and firm manner said” IT IS A NO GO AREA”.
You made mission trips to India become a reality for me. That fire will continue to burn and many more mission trips will follow in the years and decades ahead.
You have taught me life time lessons that have put me in good stead, focused on God for the journey ahead. NWC is going forward. We are built for breakthrough, created to conquer and fashioned to finish well.
1 Thessalonians 4. 14-17 brings comfort at this time. Adieu BB
